Innovative Infrastructure for Education

Welcome to Lighthouse School, where we believe in providing quality education in a green and clean campus. Our infrastructure is designed to meet the needs of our students and faculty while providing a safe and secure environment for learning. Our campus spans 3.63 acres and features state-of-the-art facilities, including an all-weather sports stadium, science lab, computer lab, library, toilets, spacious classrooms, and ample parking. We also provide RO drinking water to ensure our students stay hydrated throughout the day.

Management

At Lighthouse School, our School Management Committee is comprised of highly trained and experienced professionals who are committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for all of our students. As a committee managed by SPAROW, a registered society, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of excellence in education and providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION

 

1. Name of the Association : “THE SOCIETY FOR PROMOTION OF ALL ROUND DEVELOPMENT                                                                                           OF THE WEAKER SECTIONS OF SOCIETY”(S.P.A.R.O.W)             

2. Office of the Association                                 : Kangpokpi Ward no 6

3. Area of Operation of the Association : Kangpokpi District, Manipur

4. Area of Membership : Kangpokpi District, Manipur

 

5. Objects for which the association is established:

(a) To provide, establish, endow, maintain, control and manage the Lighthouse School and to

      perform all acts and to do all things necessary for or conducive to the promotion of the school.

(b) To establish, develop, maintain and manage hostel for the residence of the students of the school.

(c) To aid the upgradation of the proposed school to higher levels of education.

(d) To create teaching, administrative, technical, ministerial and other posts required for running the

      proposed school and to make appointments and promotions thereto.

(e) To acquire, hold and dispose of property in any manner whatsoever for the purpose of the school.

(f) To construct, improve, alter, demolish repair and maintain any building or buildings for the purpose of the proposed school.

(g) To construct, improve, alter, demolish repair and maintain any building or buildings for the purpose of the proposed hostel.

(h) To run all categories of Schools (Primary, Secondary, Higher), technical educational institutions, vocational training institutions and colleges including differentially abled persons for the benefit of students and others concerned.

(i) To maintain a fund to which shall be created:

1) All grants received from the Government.

2) All fees and other charges received from the students.

3) All moneys received by way of gifts, donations, benefactions, bequests or transfer, and

4) All moneys received in any other manner or from any other source.

(j) To run Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) for the welfare of members and non-members of the Society/Organisation in general.

(k) To undertake development of community infrastructure such as roads, buildings, hospitals,

    schools, youth clubs, community halls, libraries, houses for weaker and economically backward   

    sections of the Society.

(l) To establish homes for the children in need of care and protection and to provide all facilities for

    their growth and development.

(m) To organize adult education, non-formal education and supplementary education centres for  

       promotion of literacy.

(n) To accept donations, grants and assistance in any form, from the Government, Foreign donors

      and any other implementing agencies and to furnish information regarding the physical and

     financial progress of the schemes/programmes to the concerned organizations and authorities.

(o) To collaborate with other institutions, associations, agencies and societies in India or Abroad,

      interested in the objectives of SPAROW.

(p) To organize women into effective Self Help Groups (SHGS), who will initiate group action

     programmes for women and child welfare and their economic development, and to borrow or

     obtain assistance from Government organization, financial institutions, foreign donor agencies or

     other similar organizations, to promote this activity.

(q) To improve the income levels of poor families by organizing women into effective groups,

      enhancing their capabilities by upgrading their skills and to act a facilitator with backward and

      forward linkages.

(r) To organize and provide day care centres and residential homes for the old aged, physically

    handicapped, mentally challenged, and other disabled persons and to provide necessary assistance

    and help for their rehabilitation and well being and to get assistance from Government

    organizations, foreign donor agencies or other similar organizations interested in the welfare of the

    above mentioned disadvantaged group of persons.

6. Certified that the Association is formed with no profit motive and no commercial activity is

     involved in its working.

 

7. DECLARATION : We, the undersigned persons in the Memorandum, have formed into an  

   Association and are responsible to run the affairs of the Society and are desirous of getting the

   Society registered under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989.

 

8. The Management of the society is entrusted to a Managing Committee in accordance with regulations of Association of which the first members are:
